To support the release of this report we will be hosting a training day on pressure ulcer prevention and mattress care. Topics covered on the day include: • Standards and guidelines • Importance of mattress auditing • Mattress care and cleaning • Choosing between alternatives This training day will take place on the Tuesday the 15th of September in the Carnegie Court Hotel, Swords, Co. Dublin. Training will be hosted by our clinical support advisor Annie Allsop. Annie registered as a General Nurse in 1989 and is still NMC registered today. Having worked in the Healthcare Industry for a number of years keeping her clinical skills up-to-date, Annie is equipped with an array of skills that make her training days, interesting, informative and relevant to today’s clinical working environments. | Invacare are looking forward to partaking in the 2015 Wounds Management Association of Ireland's annual conference. Taking place on the Friday & Saturday 2-3 October 2015 in the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland, Dublin. Invacare will be exhibiting at the event and will also be co presenting a symposium with Helen Strapp TVN clinical nurse specialist at Tallaght Hospital. The thirty minute lecture will focus on pressure ulcer prevention. It will be an information clinical presentation based on the combined experiences and knowledge of Helen and Annie Allsop, Invacare’s clinical specialist.
