Rehacare Design Award for Invacare Comet and Küschall R33

The Comet, Invacare’s new scooter, as well as the famous Küschall R33, active wheelchair, have respectively been awarded the “REHACARE DESIGN AWARD: GOOD DESIGN” and the “REHACARE DESIGN AWARD: BEST DESIGN”.
For the more than 800 exhibitors from all around the world, REHACARE fair is the optimal platform for presenting innovative products and services concerning the subjects of both integration and care to trade visitors and affected people. For the first time since the beginning of the Rehacare fair, Messe Düsseldorf in cooperation with Red Dot projects has offered all exhibitors the opportunity to take part in the international competition “REHACARE DESIGN AWARD 2008/2009” and to convince the trade fair visitors of the outstanding quality of their products and offers.
With the REHACARE DESIGN AWARD, Messe Düsseldorf recognises the design-oriented innovations which are characterised by a humane and sensitive design.
For this competition, a jury consisting of internationally renowned design experts has assessed every entry on site and weighed up if an acknowledgment could be awarded. Beforehand, the products have been submitted to an objective utility test and those that impressed the judges with their design quality and innovative power have received the “REHACARE DESIGN AWARD: GOOD DESIGN” or the “REHACARE DESIGN AWARD: BEST DESIGN”.
All award-winning products will be presented in a separate online exhibition on the Internet at www.rehacare-award.com.
